We join millions in our sadness at the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. We remember her life of service and devotion to her peoples of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth, and her friendship to the people of many nations. 

Her travel to more than 100 countries and her personal relationships with many other world leaders gave her great insight and knowledge and she was loved and admired around the world.  

In the United Kingdom she reached out to and welcomed people of all communities and backgrounds, setting an example and serving with courage and dignity right to the end.

We thank God for her life and example, for her clear faith and constant hope, which she expressed particularly at times of difficulty for the nation.

We pray now for His Majesty King Charles III and offer him our sincere support in his great responsibilities.
